Tradition and excellence swarm Laney basketball.  Dozens of winning seasons, scores of college and professional players, featured in movies and TV shows, oh, and yes, it also happens to be the greatest basketball player in history's high school:  Michael Jordan.  

Fred Lynch, now the Laney Athletic Director, was at the helm for the men for nearly 30 years before passing the torch to Nathan Faulk in 2012 while Sherry Tynes and long time assistant Wayne Adams have lead the girls program.  Laney basketball is commitment to the players, the community and the game:

• Affiliated with one of the nation's premiere travel basketball organizations - Flight 22.
